July Recap: Swimming Through The Summer

By | August 6th, 2014|Uncategorized|

Back to SchoolCan you believe how quickly this summer is flying by? We stayed busy this July and had some great highlights – like that time we collected school supplies for kids in need, or that time our CFO was named one of the best in Austin. Here’s what we were up to in July:

Back-To-School Donations
In July we partnered with LifeWorks Austin for their Back to School Donation Drive to help families get ready for the new school year. We had a blast collecting school supplies for kiddos in need. See some photos from the donation drive on our Facebook page.

Carl’s Epic Motorcycle Ride
As we mentioned last month, our own Carl Davies is riding around the country to raise money for LifeWorks Austin and Max’s Ride for ALS, while also attempting to break a Guinness World Record! We got an update on where he has been so far – and as of August, he’s made it home safely! Read up on his adventure and make a donation at www.maxals.org.

Joe Ross in the Huffington Post
Joe Ross shared two new articles in his Huffington Post column – “Where Small Business Security Sands Today – A 2014 Survey,” and “What’s Stopping Media from Posting PII? Not Much.” Catch up on the column for more industry related stories.

CSID’s Amanda Nevins is Austin’s Best CFO
At the end of the month we were honored to hear that our own Amanda Nevins has been named Austin Business Journal’s 2014 Best CFO in the “Medium Private Company” category. She was recognized for her technical vision and extensive professional experience that has helped CSID achieve several solid years of growth. Go Amanda! We’re so proud! You can read more about Amanda in her ABJ profile.

CSID Finalist in 2013 Greater Austin Business Awards

By | July 29th, 2013|Uncategorized|

The 2013 Greater Austin Business Award finalists were announced this week, and we are excited and honored to be selected as a finalist among medium companies in the Technology sector for our Enterprise Threat Intelligence offering. We are also proud of our President and Co-Founder Joe Ross, who has also been selected as a finalist for the Executive Leadership award.

The Greater Austin Business Awards celebrates local Austin, TX companies for their contributions in the community, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be recognized among the city’s finest and most influential businesses. We’ve been highly active in the Austin scene over the past year, growing our company and taking part in countless events like the Startup Games, SXSW, Austin Technology Council’s CEO Summit, Texas Roundup 5k, and most recently, CANville Austin.

You can see a complete list of finalists on the Austin Chamber of Commerce website.

Wish us luck and stay tuned to see if we’ve won – winners will be announced in early September. And, congratulations to all finalists!

CSID’s Global ID Protector Wins 5 Golden Bridge Awards

By | October 4th, 2012|Uncategorized|

Wow! We got some exciting news yesterday. Our Global ID Protector product was honored with five – yes, five – Golden Bridge Awards.

The Golden Bridge Awards program recognizes the world’s best in innovations from across the globe. More than 40 experts from a broad range of industries judged this year’s program.

We are excited to announce that CSID was recognized as a Gold Winner in the following categories:

  • Enterprise Data Protection – Innovations
  • Enterprise (Global Business and Offices) – Innovations
  • Information Technology (Services) – Innovations
  • Security Service (Now or Upgrade Version) – Innovations

We were also recognized as a Bronze Winner in the Security Solutions for Enterprise (Large) category.

Needless to say we are excited by the win. CSID’s Global ID Protector is an offering we have worked hard to develop. When CSID’s Global ID Protector came to market in August 2011, there was no international identity monitoring solution that could tie global customer data together and provide an online portal that is customizable by language preference. Global ID Protector filled this need and remains, to this day, one of the few customizable identity protection and fraud detection solutions that can be scaled on a global level.

CSID’s Global ID Protector is on a Roll

By | August 27th, 2012|Uncategorized|

We did it again. Our Global ID Protector has been honored with another award—the International Business Awards has selected CSID’s Global ID Protector technology as the winner of the Silver Stevie Award for Best New B2B Product of the Year. As the only globally scalable comprehensive identity protection solution on the market, our technology has created a name for itself in the security industry.

The International Business Awards are one of the world’s premier business awards program, with more than 3,200 entries received this year from more than 50 countries. We’re honored to have our technology among so many other distinguished applicants. Take a look at the complete list of this year’s winners, as well as our press release of the announcement.

And to keep the ball rolling, our Global ID Protector technology has been named a finalist in multiple categories—including Innovations in Information Technology and Enterprise Data Protection—by the Golden Bridge Awards, a global awards program that recognizes innovations for every major industry in the world. Wish us luck and stay tuned for early October, when the winners will be announced.

Global ID Protector Named 2012 National Technology Awards Finalist

By | May 9th, 2012|Uncategorized|

Terman Finalist logoThough Global ID Protector was only released this past August, it is already making a name for itself in the technology space. Global ID Protector is used by Fortune 500 international companies, has been deployed in more than 47 countries and has been translated into 15 languages. And in December, the Austin Business Journal awarded Global ID Protector the Gold Award – the top honor – in its annual Tech Innovation Awards program, recognizing the technology’s ability to positively impact the security industry.

Now, Global ID Protector has done it again. The TechAmerica Foundation has named CSID a finalist in the Cyber Security and Authentication category of the 2012 American Technology Awards (ATA’s) for the Global ID Protector product. We’re up against two other finalists in the category: RSA and KOBIL USA. See more about the awards and the complete list of finalists.

Jennifer Kerber, President of the TechAmerica Foundation, said in the company’s press release: “The caliber of this year’s nominees was incredible. Our judges had their work cut out for them in coming up with these outstanding finalists, who represent the best of technology in their categories. What a great indicator of how the tech sector is growing and innovating.”

They’ll be announcing the winners for each category early next week. Fingers crossed for CSID!
