Simple, Convenient and Secure Voice Verification

Our patent-protected voice biometric system, VoiceVerified®, offers unlimited possibilities for securing transactions by allowing an easy, accurate, and hassle-free process for conducting business.

Businesses and organizations from a wide range of industries can benefit from the accuracy, ease and security of authenticating identities provided by VoiceVerified. VoiceVerified is our voice biometric technology that uses your members’ and/or consumers’ voiceprints — which are as unique as fingerprints — to authenticate individuals accessing accounts.

Since VoiceVerified does not rely on personal information, passwords or PINs — and thus can’t be spoofed — identity thieves are thwarted right from the start. No extra hardware or software is required. The voice authentication process is simple, safe and you can use it to secure remote transactions.

How Does VoiceVerified Work?

  1. An individual (one of your consumers or members) registers for voice verification
  2. The individual records a voiceprint, after our system verifies the identity
  3. Our system keeps track of the voiceprints and can distinguish recordings from live speech
  4. Verification phrases presented are randomly generated and unknown to the user ahead of time
  5. Your organization uses your consumers’ voiceprints to identify consumer calls

Authentication typically takes less than 10 seconds, and your company or organization can designate the security thresholds required for various transactions. For instance, a user’s voiceprint can be individually customized for more or less precision and accuracy.

Multiple Engines, Unrivaled Accuracy

Through using a fused engine methodology, VoiceVerified is able to provide the highest levels of accuracy without having to compromise the speed of voice authentication. This technology can include the implementation of the following types of engines:

  • Text-Dependent (Numerically-Based)
This engine involves the user saying numeric phrases that include digits between 0 and 9
  • Text Independent (Free Speech)
A free speech engine that captures the voice through the user saying anything
  • Text Independent Fused Engine
Uses both a numeric text dependent engine and the text independent “free speech” engine

In addition to the above combinations of engines, CSID offers a Mixed Use version of voice authentication. In this scenario, an organization can choose a number, such as their customer’s phone number, that the customer preregisters online and is stored in a database. This version uses a speech recognition technology layer during enrollment while incorporating a voice authentication layer in the verification process.

Fixed numeric voice authentication is also available to businesses who want a simple way to verify low-risk transactions, such as balance inquiries or add service requests.
